Experience medieval life in Alcaudete from the 8th-10th of July

Alcaudete celebrates the 17th edition of the Fiestas Calatravas on 8, 9 and 10 July. Declared an Andalusian Tourist Event in 2019, these festivities will take you back to the Middle Ages in the most modern way, with new and surprising activities, such as the simulation of the burning of the castle when it was attacked by the Nasrid army.
During this weekend, Alcaudete dresses up to commemorate the history of the town, with parades, firework displays, re-enactments, theatrical performances, live music, etc.
In addition, the castle can be visited from 20:00 until 03:00h.
